Design and Work Direction for the laying of fiber optics

Feasibility, civil design and work direction for fiber optic laying and final processing of As-Built.

During the preliminary feasibility study, the best route solution for implementing the link is identified, through the evaluation of the infrastructure available in the area of interest (telecommunications, public lighting, electrical network, etc.) or the need for new construction, estimating the final costs; the analysis of environmental and archaeological protection constraints, possible interference with sub-services and the impact with road routes is fundamental.

The next phase consists of the creation of the executive project, structured in planimetric drawings accompanied by technical reports,, cadastral maps and a metric computation document for cost analysis; all of which is carried out by means of a field survey for the punctual verification of the route and the actual, if any, aforementioned interferences/constraints for which the prescriptions indicated by the managing bodies involved in the proceedings will be complied with.

The final stage is the return of the so-called “as-built” i.e., the drafting of the actual laid layout that may differ from the design due to subsequent site requirements. The as-builts are important to know the exact location of the fiber for any maintenance or subsequent new connection projects.

During the execution phase of fiber laying work, Work Direction service is also carried out.
